Great video! I would hope that Xtool could have all promised features ready to go for the 4k price tag. So far, the Ultra seems to be coming up short on batching, conveyor, curved surface, camera, etc. I'm confident that these issues will be corrected over time via software, but again, 4k for beta?

Maybe 3d print bigger chuck jaws, or an insert for that planter specifically so it can go on the chuck? The rollers just aren't repeatable, but the chuck does okay.

shouldn't the lip on the planer sled be in the front, because that's the direction of the feed? The rollers are pulling the wood forward, not backward.

The laser is certified when closed, but when using this conveyer, it would be better to let your kids use protective goggles. Reflections will not blind them directly, but in time it is harmfull. Apart from that, nice review !

Have you tried acrylic paint on the mdf? It doesn't wick into wood.

I put an exopy clear flood coat over a carved board as I had several air bubbles in the text but don't like the shininess. Can I surface a bit and then do the mineral oil soak? Wood is walnut.

The F1 can do 90% of what was shown in this video...If you are into embossing and deep engravings that take forever the Ultra is for you...If you own already an F1, I suggest you buy a fiber laser for less than what the Ultra costs...RUclips influencers are not paid moneywise but are gifted a free machine in exchange for a positive review,and not an honest review...I would wait before buying a pricey machine like this,wait for someone who will give an honest review...

Can the software pull in serial numbers from a SQL database? Or from a text file? Alternatively, can you control the controller from a PLC or through ethernet, or serial?

Thank you very nice. But the ferry and the wooden coins were totally misaligned on some parts which gets me nervous about my preorder. With expensive stock you can't just destroy 20 percent. How bad is it? I need it dead center not just OK...

When you're engraving sterling silver or gold vermeil (gold plated sterling) is it easy to clean the oxidation/tarnish from the laser off of it after?

Wow. What a Machine. But the working area is a bit small for me… It world have been great if you actually test or demonstrate how accurate the positioning with camera is - I have a setup with my second camera already now, on a stand into lightburn and it’s utterly unusable: I have various Material thicknesses and basically I need to Re-calibrate every single day. Even if it’s the same material as the day before. It’s so unusable that i just don’t use it anymore. And even best case IF it works it’s perhaps 0,5 cm accurate. Please test by lasering out a pattern or crosshairs and then take a picture/look at the picture and see if it is at the position where it should be.
